3.) What is GHK-Cu (copper peptide)?
GHK-Cu is a copper complex of the tripeptide glycine-histidine-lysine, naturally present in human plasma.
Its published evidence comes mainly from laboratory models, such as collagen synthesis in cultured skin fibroblasts and hair follicles kept in organ culture. Very little peer-reviewed human research with reported numbers exists, so these laboratory findings do not show effects in people.
A widely cited 2018 review summarises existing lab and animal work; it is not new evidence, and its author has a commercial interest in the ingredient.
