Units are U-100 insulin-syringe units, where 100 units equals 1mL. Because GHK-Cu is supplied at a high total strength, a larger water volume usually gives more readable measurements.
Step by step
- 1Bring the vial to room temperature and swab the stopper with alcohol.
- 2Draw the chosen volume of bacteriostatic water into a transfer syringe.
- 3Direct the stream down the inside wall of the vial, not onto the powder.
- 4Let the vacuum draw the water in, then withdraw the needle.
- 5Swirl gently until the powder dissolves into a clear blue solution — never shake.
- 6Label with the date, water volume, and concentration.
- 7Store refrigerated at 2–8°C, protected from light.
Copper peptides are light-sensitive. Keep the reconstituted vial in its box or a dark part of the refrigerator.
